The majority also believe that staging increases the sale price, some saying by up to 15%. In another recent survey by HomeGain, the return on investment in staging is found to be almost 200%. Home staging costs sellers much less than the first list price reduction, while putting more money in their pocket.

Staged homes also sell faster because they get more showings and show better. According to a 2016 Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) report, homes that are staged before hitting the market sell in an average of 23 days, 90% faster than homes that are listed on the market “as is”.
